Ruth graduated from New York University with a Master of Science Degree in Communicative Sciences and Disorders. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science from University of Maryland Global Campus and an Associate’s Degree in Cross-Cultural Studies from Toccoa Falls College.
Ruth had the opportunity to work with clients at the Walker Scottish Rite Clinic during her clinical externship in graduate school. It was during this experience that she was first introduced to the Clinic’s mission, which strongly resonated with her. After graduating from NYU in the Spring of 2023, Ruth was thrilled to begin working at the WSRC as a Clinical Fellow.
Ruth is an advocate for early intervention services and is passionate about creating individualized treatments by collaborating with children and their caregivers to ultimately promote communicative success. As a mother of three children herself, one of Ruth’s favorite things about working with the pediatric population is learning about each child’s unique personality, interests, and strengths.
Ruth provides therapy services to children at the Maryville University and St. Louis City locations. A fun fact about Ruth is that she has lived and traveled all over the world and loves to learn about the culture, language, and cuisine of each place she visits.
