Advancement Council

Thank you for your interest in joining the Walker Scottish Rite Clinic at Maryville University’s KidTalk Advancement Council. Your leadership will directly strengthen our mission of providing free, early-intervention speech and language services to preschool children who are struggling to communicate across the Greater St. Louis region. The Advancement Council and its committees play a vital role in driving our mission forward.

The Advancement Council’s main goal is clear: To raise essential funds to reach the growing number of children who depend on the services of the Walker Scottish Rite Clinic.

• • Develop ideas for the Clinic’s fundraisers and family events
  • Expand the Clinic’s network of potential donors to increase monetary and in-kind support
  • Participate in the Clinic’s annual special events
  • Advocate for children with communication disorders

We need your help to continue our efforts to provide free therapy. The Council meets quarterly (February, May, August, November). We ask every member to join the 52 Club ($5/week).

Please join your expertise to the KidTalk Advancement Council and help us serve the next children on our waiting list.
