Brittany graduated with her Masters of Arts in Speech Language Pathology from Truman State University in 2015. She completed her Clinical Fellowship Year at an early childhood center near Fort Hood, TX where she lived with her husband who served in the Army. She practiced for three school years in this position and worked with a variety of communication disorders on a multidisciplinary team. Brittany also worked in Texas in Acute Care and Private Practice, but her passion is working with the early childhood population. She joined the Walker Scottish Rite Clinic team in 2019 and is currently working at our North County YWCA Headstart location. She appreciates the Clinic’s core values of parent involvement and early identification, and is proud of our team’s focus on helping children regardless of the family’s financial status. In her free time, Brittany loves spending time with her family (especially her two dogs!), traveling and exercising. If she wasn’t a Speech-Language Pathologist, Brittany would be a travel blogger or wedding planner.
